چکیده
Structural mapping of intermediate size and large molecules biomolecules at ultra-high resolution using single-crystal electrodes in situ scanning tunnelling microscopy continues to disclose surprising findings. In spectroscopy has also recently disclosed new electrochemical conductivity features the level single molecule. We overview briefly elements this development over last few years, with focus on three recent discoveries: (1) a packing mode core monolayer target thiol, amino acid cysteine (Cys) Au(100)-electrodes, quite different from Cys Au(111)- Au(110)-electrodes; (2) transition ferrocene probe stochastic single-molecule macroscopic behaviour, concept heart nanoscience; (3) unexpected behaviour molybdenum enzyme sulfite oxidase, when going electrochemistry. compare these studies other discoveries protein molecular scale inorganic nanostructures.
